How can I get support for 5th Social Bot plugin?

How do I create a Mastodon access token?

Go to Preferences → Development → New Application on your Mastodon instance (social.5th.ro), create an application with write:statuses and read:accounts permissions, then copy the generated token into the plugin settings.

Does the plugin only work with social.5th.ro?

The access token must be from social.5th.ro for the main functionality. However, you can configure a second Mastodon instance for auto-boost in the Auto-Boost tab.

How do I enable Mastodon profile verification?

Check "Enable profile verification" in the Settings tab, then add your WordPress site domain to the Mastodon whitelist (Preferences → Public profile → Verification).

How do I use Mastodon shortcodes?

You can use [mastodon_button] for buttons and [mastodon_feed] for feeds. Check the Shortcode & Verification tab or documentation for complete details and examples.

How does auto-boost work?

Auto-boost allows automatic boosting of posts on a second Mastodon instance. Configure the instance and token in the Auto-Boost tab. Rate limit: maximum 10 boosts/day with a minimum 30-minute interval.
